Smoked Tofu Japanese Style Gyros

Okay gyros fans! Here is the 411! Who doesn’t love a good hearty gyro? Especially when you can make it with our smoked tofu!

This recipe is bound to be your go-to on a lazy Monday or TGI Friday. This is absolutely DELISH on its own, over rice, or even on a bed of potatoes! Here is what you're going to need.

Makes approx. 4 skewers

What you'll need:

Mandolin

Ingredients
1 block Just Smoke or Maple Soy smoked tofu
1 tbsp of sesame oil
1 block of oomé Just Smoke smoked tofu
1 tbsp each sriracha, Japanese kewpie mayo, chili oil, truffle salt
1 roasted seaweed
1 cup of rice cooked 

Instructions:

1. Using a mandolin slice entire block of tofu
2. Fold and and skewer to achieve gyro like look
3. Place them in a pan and drizzle your chilli oil, truffle salt, sesame oil, splash of soy sauce.
4. Fry and grill till they are crispy and golden. You can even use an air fryer if you want!
5. Remove and place them on a bed of cooked rice, noodles, potatoes. Really anything you can think of!

6. Garnish and drizzle with sriracha and kewpie mayo for an extra zing!
