You got it folks! Here is one of our favourite recipes using Cosori air fryer! oome smoked tofu Yaki-Onigiri. Savoury sweet, with a hint of spice. This is going to be your go-to-comfort-but-healthy push dinner snack!
Makes approx. 4.
What you'll need:
Cheese grater
Onigiri mold
Ingredients
1.5 cups cooked sushi rice
1 block of oomé maple soy smoked tofu
1 tbsp each gochujang and Japanese kewpie mayo
1 pepper (chopped)
1 avocado (chopped)
1 cup kimchi (chopped)
Instructions:
1. Using a microplane grater, grate 6 tbsp of tofu;
2. Mix grated tofu, gochujang, kewpie mayo and all of the ingredients in a bowl together;
3. Place enough rice in the onigiri mold to cover bottom of mold and a well in the middle;
4. Scoop 1.5 tbsps tofu mixture into the well;
5. Add equal amount of rice to cover filling and place mold on top, press mold to form onigiri in place;
6. Remove onigiri, drizzle kewpie mayo on top. Air fry for 10mins. Sprinkle sesame seeds and other toppings you like!
7. Repeat with the remainder of rice.
